The highly stylized, hand-carved mahogany table features a rectangular top with a moulded edge, showcasing a beautifully patinated black tooled leather inset.Beneath the top, the desk includes a set of three carved mahogany-lined drawers, each retaining its original brass fret handles, working locks, and a functioning key. Above the writing platform, two small drawers and a backboard are adorned with lacquered panels, hand-decorated with intricate flowers and birds, all crowned by a pagoda gabled roof, finished with exquisite classic Chippendale fretwork.This elegant table is supported by four slender, stylized square column legs that terminate in ball and claw feet.
