A pretty Georgian dessert plate with shaped gilded rim and relief moulded decoration of grapes and vine leaves around the edge. The centre is decorated with a botanical specimen of an Alpine Erinus, the delicate outline printed, and then hand painted in enamels over the top. The reverse printed with the specimen name and painted pattern number 805. Ridgway, c.1810.
It measures 20.3cm (8'') wide and 2.3cm (7/8'') high.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear.
