Antique Silver Snuff Box

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a small solid silver Snuff Box with a gilt lined interior. It has a wavy edge and the outside is nicely decorated with a vacant circular cartouche on one side.

It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1922 and the maker Charles Perry & Co. It weighs approximately 50g.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks but no major damages or anything detrimental. The gilt lining is rubbed and a little worn but overall it still displays well and the hinge is in good order. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

Height : 1/2" / 1.5cm

Length : 2 1/2” / 6.5cm

Width : 1 1/2" / 4cm
