Description

A pretty little antique gold pendant in the form of a turquoise- and pearl-studded cross centred within a heart-shaped frame. The gold is the lovely slightly rosy yellow colour typical of Victorian and Edwardian jewellery.

SIZE: 1.8 x 2cm, not including the bail.

WEIGHT: 1.2g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold, turquoise, pearl.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: B&W 9CT.

CONDITION: The pendant is in very good antique condition, the tiniest bottom pearl has lost some of its nacre.

ERA: Victorian (c.1837-1901).
