Sinclairs Antiques and Interiors has dated this Victorian Pine Kitchen Dresser to the Victorian era.
The upper section features twin banks of small drawers—each with original turned wooden knobs—set above a generous open shelf. The shaped backboard adds a gentle flourish to the otherwise practical form. Below, three drawers sit above a trio of panelled cupboard doors, each with distinctive diagonal and vertical plank work. Two doors retain their brass drop handles and brass swing bar locks. The interior offers ample storage, making this piece as functional as it is characterful. Standing on short, sturdy feet and built to last, this dresser is a fine example of Scottish furniture.
