Four Mid-19thc Hand-Painted Dutch Delft Miniature Furniture Pieces Blue & White

Brief Description:

This is an exquisite group of four mid-19th-century Dutch Delft Miniature furniture pieces, including a large centre table, a large open armchair and two smaller side chairs.

The set is meticulously hand-painted with Dutch landscape scenes, including windmills, boats, canals, and farming landscapes.

The fabulous table is hand-painted with a frozen winter landscape, including a group of young children playing what appears to be the Dutch version of ice hockey.

All four are modelled with fastidious attention to detail.

They are all free from any damage or previous repair, having spent a good part of their life remaining untouched, in the same display cabinet.

Dating from the 1850s to 1860s.
