Gill Coe Antiques & Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The lid of the caddy is decorated with inlaid mother-of-pearl and gilt. The lid lifts to reveal two lidded compartments with mother-of-pearl handles. The interior is lined in the original paper and the caddy sits on four feet. It is in good condition with some minor age related wear. It measures 22.5cm wide x 16cm depth.
