Frederick William Hattersley 1859-1942.Sheffield born watercolour artist specialising in landscape and beach scenes.Exhibited at the Sheffield Society of Artists between 1870-1890and Sheffield Museum hold at least six local views by him.He painted in a loose impressionistic manner and his work is much collected . ‘ Low Tide,Heacham,Norfolk ‘ signed watercolour, inscribed with title,image size 17x36.5 cms,framed size 39x59 cms.Housed in original frame with original mount inscribed with title.
