Culvertons has dated this Antique Mahogany Pedestal Desk to the Edwardian era.
This desk would categorise as Chippendale revival, but unlike many produced during the early part of the 20th Century, the cabinet maker sourced mahogany of a superior nature; the wonderful timber used for the desk’s top is testament to this. The desk offers practical dimensions with ample legroom and working width, measuring 76 cm in depth by 153 cm in width, with a kneehole of 65 cm in height by 61.5 cm in width. A desk designed to be admired for generations.
