A good original condition watercolour of a view towards Bamburgh golf course in Northumberland, signed by the artist Frank Wood and dated 1943.

Frank Wood, born locally in Berwick-upon-Tweed, a naval officer and ships artist in his early years. He became a professional artist in 1899. In 1903 he sold a painting to King Edward V11 as well as Queen Alexandria purchased his work.
