A handsome pair of William IV mahogany carver chairs, dating to circa 1830. The elegant saddleback top rail sweeps into scrolling arms above a finely carved foliate centre splat, showcasing the skilled craftsmanship of the period.

Each chair retains its traditional drop-in seat, upholstered in a tasteful patterned fabric, and stands on turned and tapered front legs with sabre rear supports. The rich, well-aged patina of the mahogany enhances their refined classical lines.
