Description

A charming George III oak and mahogany mule chest. The chest has a two-plank hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior, ideal for storage. The front is three-panelled with inlay detail, set above two drawers fitted with brass drop handles. The piece is raised on block feet, giving it a sturdy and traditional Georgian appearance

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches. Loss and staining are visible to the inside of the lid, with splitting, loss and staining to the top. There is also some denting and loss to the back and drawers. The piece remains solid and sound.
