The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
One of the houses looks to have some indistinct writing on the wall outside. The drainer plate is decorated with a starburst effect painted in concentric rings. The outer ring has shaped reserves painted with "precious objects" with diaper patterned panels in between. In slight cultural contrast, the side drainage channel is decorated in a European style with scrolls and a face mask.

It measures 22.7cm (8 7/8") wide and 9cm (3 1/2") high.
In very good overall condition with just some minor superficial faults. There is a very shallow surface chip to the side, which is mainly loss of glaze and a shallow chip to the rim. A further very small chip to the rim and some nibbles to the foot rim, some usual glaze losses to the rim and some fine hairlines in the glaze to the draining dish.
