Antique Metalware 17thc Brass Fish Slice From The Manor House Kitchen . English C1670-90.
Status:This item has been sold Sold by:Mark Seabrook Antiques
A very nice quality late 17thc brass cooking slice from the manor / farmhouse kitchen, where it would have been used to remove fish / meat from the cooking pot, straining the water away as it is lifted onto a plate......the slice has a faded makers mark, which looks like the ''cross and pellets'' which you often find on these early cooking utensils and I particularly like the size of this small slice, being only 13.80 ins (35.1cms) in length....one of the smallest I have bought....it is in very good condition with an attractive mellow colour to the brass and is cast in one piece and has no damage, just natural signs of its great age.
English. C1670-90.
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer , all you will need are my Bank Details, which I will send you or off line by Credit / Debit card ,..... e-mail or telephone your card details (long card number, expiry date and three security digits on the reverse of the card) through to me and I will do the rest .
