Description

An impressive antique Edwardian mahogany and inlaid double bed dating from circa 1905. This is a really good quality example, in a richly figured solid mahogany frame, the headboard and footboard inlaid with satinwood inlay, with central marquetry inlay of a neoclassical urn and swags. Featuring a serpentine top rail over inlaid central oblong splat flanked by four vertical splats below an inlaid vertical base rail. It has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled (and comes with a Vono spanner just right for the job). Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails which make a very solid bed fame. (no base or mattress included).
