Gents Zenith Wrist Watch, 1969

Description

Gents Zenith wrist watch, 1969.

The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 2542 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The calibre 2542 was launched in 1965.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold filled. The front of the case is in good condition, some plate loss to the side of the watch. Stainless steel screw-on case back, signed inside with the Zenith name.

The lens is in good condition, as is the signed dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
