A fine pair of Masons Ironstone Serving plates dating to c1830.
Blue underglaze hand painted with vibrant enamels and gilding with handles at each side. The clear black transfer marks on the back date them to 1830-48.
They come from the private collection of Dr Jill Turnbull.

England, c1860
Condition
Excellent. The plate on the left has been used and has some minor crazing as shown, the plate on the right has no crazing. Both have minor loss of gilt to the handles.
