Antique French Gueridon Table Marble Top

1900 - 1920
Description

This is an elegant Egyptian Revival period French Gueridon table with classic bronze mounts and a superb figured marble top dating from around 1900.

The handsome table has typical Egyptian influenced design with bronze figureheads and feet to the support columns, the base raised on turned bun feet. The super top in Verde Alpi marble has a wonderful colour with black, white and even red veining and measures 70 cms in diameter with the table being 70 cms in height overall so this has very attractive proportions for a variety of situations.
