Gents Waltham wrist watch, 1931.

The watch has a seven jewel grade 361 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 27,581,303 which dates it back to 1931.

The watch measures 30.5mm diameter excluding the onion winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. Originally designed to be worn by a man, with today’s fashions it would suit a man with a slimmer wrist or a lady. The case is gold plated and was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company for Waltham. Keystone acquired the Crescent Watch Case Company hence the case also has the CWC logo. The case is in lovely condition, just one small mark to the edge of the hinged back, nothing too detrimental at all.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial features a red number 12, blued steel hands and an outer minute track. There is a short faint hairline between the centre and the top of the subsidiary seconds dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
