Description

An early 19th century Mahogany Wine Cooler.

The rounded rim with a concave and stepped underside, meeting the inward and downward tapering sides.

The body framed by stepped mouldings enclosing slightly recessed panels of flame figured mahogany.

The body falling to a rounded moulding, and thence the plinth base.

The underside mounted with substantial concealed castors.

The interior with lead lining for ice.

Height 17 1/2 inches, 44.5cm

Width 31 1/2 inches, 80cm.

Depth 22 inches, 56cm.
