This is a set of five (plus one) Jugendstil Franz Reuleaux designed enamelled and gilded wine glasses for the Fritz Heckert glass house in Petersdorf, Germany and dating from the early 20th century, c1910. The glasses show Islamic influence and are from the Jodhpur range.The glasses are in excellent condition for their age. They show age related wear and tear to the rims of the feet consistent with some 100+ years of use. The glasses have cup-shaped bowls measuring 7 cm (2.8 inches) in diameter at the gilded bowl rims. The glasses have been blown in clear glass and then enamelled and gilded. The rims of the bowls are gilded above a band of blue enamel enhanced by gilded trailing foliage. The bulk of the bowl is gilded and enamelled with a band of small gothic-shaped panels of green, blue and ruby glass. The otherwise plain stem is cut with six vertical facets just under the bowl.
