An Early Victorian Antique Silver and Agate Snuff Box, Edward Smith 1843

Description

A stunning Edwardian antique silver and agate extra large table snuff box. Made in Birmingham in 1843 by Edward Smith. The box has beautiful agates on the top and bottom which are in excellent condition. It is gilded on the inside and has a full set of hallmarks on the lip. The 15 part hinge is tight and the outer body is profusely engraved with swirles and flowers. This is the biggest and best silver and agate box I have had, truely beautiful.

WEIGHT; 340 grams or 11 ozst approximately.
