Royal Worcester Porcelain Figure – Kneeling Water Carrier by James Hadley c.1910
Offered for sale is a fine Royal Worcester porcelain figure of a kneeling classical maiden with a water jar, designed by the renowned modeller James Hadley (1837–1903). Modelled with characteristic detail and poise, she is dressed in a flowing green robe, with gilded highlights to the armlet and vessel.
Model number 637.
Fully marked to the base with the Royal Worcester green printed backstamp and date code for 1910.
Also impressed with model number and additional painted marks.
Height: 14.5 cm (5¾ inches)
Condition: Very good antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor wear to gilding only, commensurate with age.
