Description

Handsome pair of English Regency rosewood scroll armchairs c.1830. Highly figured solid rosewood frames featuring flared and curved top rails with roll-over tops and turned roundels at the edges. Curved back stretchers and slim arms flowing into a graceful scroll with pointed ends. Loose seat pads freshly upholstered in a burgundy flat weave with a fleur-de-lis pattern. Raised on sabre legs. With an earlier repair to one of the arms, otherwise very good condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
