For Sale by AC Silver
Description

A stunning antique 1.65 carat diamond and platinum Art Deco style solitaire ring; part of our collection of diamond engagement rings.

This stunning, fine and impressive antique diamond solitaire ring has been crafted in platinum.

The pierced decorated setting displays a stunning feature 1.25ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond, eight-claw set in subtle relief.

The iconic and desirable Art Deco splayed ring shoulders are each embellished with two collet set baguette cut diamonds, conjoining with a collet set rectangular cut diamond to a plain hallmarked ring shank.

The ring is hallmarked to the interior shank with the platinum mark (PLAT) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.

This impressive 1920s diamond ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco solitaire rings from the 1920s are characterised by clean geometric lines, platinum settings, and accent stones such as baguette-cut diamonds framing a prominent central gemstone.

Jewellers during this period predominantly utilised platinum for its strength and neutral colour, paired with natural diamonds cut in early brilliant styles.

Authentic pieces often feature period hallmarks or purity stamps such as PLAT, geometric shoulder detailing, and hand-cut diamond proportions typical of early twentieth-century jewellery crafting.

An Art Deco diamond solitaire offers a timeless aesthetic that pairs seamlessly with minimalist modern wedding bands or stacked contemporary fine jewellery pieces.

Clean gently using warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled brush, ensuring periodic professional inspections to verify claw security and stone tightness.
