Dutch Early Oak Carved Coffer Circa 1690

Description

Fine late 17th. century Dutch oak coffer with finely carved panels to front with fluted and ebony inlaid pillisters. Paneled sides with iron carrying handles. Internal candlebox. All in fine original condition except old replacement iron hinges. Lovely deep honey colour with fine waxed patina. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.
