Description

Gents 1960s Smiths Everest wrist watch.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, stamped Made in England, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chrome plated and the screw-on case back is stainless steel. The front and sides of the case are in lovely condition. Light surface scratching to the back. The back of the watch states that that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hour and minute hands… the subsidiary seconds dial hand appears to be a period replacement. The dial has the wording Made in England at the bottom.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
