A Mid Century Georg Jensen Silver Heart Brooch

A fabulous Georg Jensen silver brooch, dating from the 1940s. This superb piece has full Danish hallmarks and was designed by Arno Malinowski. The openwork body is heart shaped and features an ascending bird with leaf fronds. This lovely Art Deco design has a number of variations by Malinowski and this is one of the more unusual examples. The pin is secured by a rollover clasp to the reverse. Georg Jensen jewellery is highly prized and always in demand, making this piece both collectable and desirable. Dimensions below.
