A Large Terracota Bust of "Ariadne"

1900 - 1920
Description

An interesting large terracota bust of a female head measuring 59cms h. 24cms w and deep.

It was made by an artist leonardo pezaro of whom little is known.

This piece which has a full original label ( see pic)

We have had it for several.years in our collection .

It was offered for sale in 1913 for the considerable sum of £750

We cant confirm if it was sold or not.but nevertheless it is a very attractive piece.
