Antique Silver Sauce Boat

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of an antique Sterling Silver sauce or gravy boat. It is a stylish piece with an elegant curved handle and a round foot. It is a good quality piece, weighing approximately 146g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1919, S.W.Smith & Co.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and some minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.

Approximate Measurements:

Height : 3 1/2" (9cm)

Length inc Handle : 7" (18cm)

Depth : 3 1/2" (9cm)
