An antique Cuban mahogany chest of drawers dating to around 1780, notable for its rich timber and traditional craftsmanship. The piece comprises two short drawers above three full-width drawers, each fitted with brass swan-neck handles and keyholes. The drawer interiors are oak-lined, reflecting period construction techniques. Fluted quarter columns with brass mounts frame the front, while the chest stands on ogee bracket feet. The clean proportions and restrained detailing exemplify late 18th-century British furniture design.
