George III Antique Silver Sugar Caster, London 1778

Description

A beautifully simple George III silver antique sugar caster. Made in London in 1778 by Thomas Shepherd. The caster has a full set of hallmarks underthe foot and part marks on the top. It has a flame finial and engraved designs on the lid. Overall the caster is in good condition with signs of wear from it's approximately 250 years of use. It is a great piece of Georgian silver and very collectable.

WEIGHT; 80 grams or 2.5 ozst.
