The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, signed Moeris, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case has a small patch of pin prick marks to the side, and light rubbing around the edge of the front and back.

The front cover has a central lens surrounded by dark blue enamel filled Roman numerals.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition, just very light marks if viewed through a jeweller’s loupe.

The dial is in lovely condition and has the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a vintage presentation box from a Leicester jeweller.
