LTANTIQUES.CO.UK has dated this Black Forest Bear Bench to the 1920s.

The bears are depicted in upright poses, arms outstretched to support the seat between them.
The backrest is a masterpiece in itself, designed with pierced carvings of intertwining branches and hand-painted green leaves. Nestled at the centre of the backrest is a charming baby bear, also carved in wood, standing playfully while holding a branch in each paw.
The seat is spacious enough for two and is comfortably proportioned for use .
In very good strong solid condition.
