The House of Antiques has dated this Carved Wooden Santos Figure to the 19th Century.
Stood on its original pine base this figure would once have been dressed in regalia and a long cloak or dress. With hand painted detail and remnants of gesso still visible. A lovely authentic example which is highly sculptural and decorative in our humble opinion.
