Art & Crafts Cymric Decanter - Archibald Knox For Liberty

This is a stunning solid sterling silver-collared decanter.
 
Designed by the highly collectable Archibald Knox for Liberty, it is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 with the maker''s mark of Liberty & Co. It is also stamped ''CYMRIC'' and 2231 (or 2232?). The plain bulbous glass body stands over a circular pedestal base with star design. The silver rim has Celtic knot motifs in blue green enamel, topped with a spherical hollow stopper.
