A 19th century country house sofa by Hampton and Sons of Pall Mall - London. Raised on 4 turned walnut legs and casters. The base of the chair bears the makers Plaque.
Retaining its original innards and top tatty covering with reusable braid. This would have been quite a show stopper when back in its hay day. We like the mix of floral and purple velvet which has now faded. It could be refinished in the same taste by our upholsterers.
Structurally in good solid condition and for upholstery.
As with all our upholstered seating we do offer upholstery should you wish.
