The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 17-jewel Revue calibre 73 hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 23mm wide excluding the winding crown, and 45mm high including the handsomely shaped lugs. The case is gold filled and it is in good condition. The back of the watch has the initials GAF. The inside of the case back is signed Wittnauer.

The curved lens is in good condition, just a couple of light marks but nothing serious. Some white reflection showing in the photos.
The signed dial with a textured pattern is in its original finish with original hands.

The watch comes on an expanding gold filled band.
The watch comes with its original Wittnauer watch guarantee and presentation box, both signed Wittnauer and also Longines-Wittnauer, In 1950 the Swiss company Longines bought Wittnauer, and marketed some very similar lines of watches under both brand names, maintaining separate factories.
