Brass Corinthian Column Adjustable Standard Lamp

19th century
Description

An elegant adjustable standard lamp featuring a finely cast Corinthian capital atop a reeded brass column, which extends telescopically. The column is supported by a stepped square base that transitions gracefully to a circular footed platform, raised on four paw feet. Decorative flower garlands are cast in relief below the capital, enhancing its neoclassical appeal. Mid Victorian date from around 1880 , rewired and PAT tested.
