A Burl Oak Library Writing Table

Description

An impressive burl oak library writing table. Raised on carved feet with brass castors and carved brackets to the end supports which are united by a turned stretcher. The top has two frieze drawers and dummies to the reverse and a wide banding with molded edge and black leather inset writing surface with gilt and blind tooling. In very good and original condition and with a lovely honey colour. 750mm high, 1530mm wide and 900mm deep. English. Circa 1850.
