An antique satinwood games table dating to circa 1820, featuring ebony and boxwood inlay throughout and a black leather top. The fold-over top reveals a black leather-lined playing surface, designed for cards or board games. The tapered legs are finished with swept feet, and the frieze is decorated with fine diamond and oval inlay work. Elegant and well-proportioned, this piece serves equally well as a console table or games table in a living room, hallway or study.
