The lid features a wonderful rose design with white guilloche enamel with a hint of green hue in the background.
The box is made from an excellent gauge of silver with a very heavy feel in hand, almost to the extent it could be used as a paperweight - a sign of quality and "no costs cut" craftsmanship.
The interior is also fully gilt, which not only presents a lovely contrast with the external silver colour but also provides a layer of protection from the contents inside oxidising/tarnishing the silver.
Owing to its versatile size and hefty quality, it would most definitely grace a table, whether it be as a table snuff box, storage of small objects or as a confectory container.
Overall, a beautiful piece of quality enamel silverware, ideal for lovers of floral enamelware and a wonderful piece for collections, display or practical usage.

Condition
Good Condition - The box is in good antique condition with no major damage or issues. For accuracy: there is a small section of surface enamel loss on the top/bottom right corner which is hard to see unless closely examined at an angle. A small ding on the bottom right corner. The lid has a slight gap upon close as shown in the images.
