The foil backed setting, commonly found in Georgian period jewellery, enhances its overall vividness and reflective nature. This piece is unmarked as is common with small gold articles of this period and as such we have tested it, indicating 14ct gold content.

Condition: good antique condition with no major issues or damage, a very small chip on the citrine as show in the closeup photo and light surface wear as expected with antiques of this age. Possible reshanking and old solder to the reverse side where the shoulder connects to the top - this cannot be seen from the front.
