Early Victorian Silver & Turquoise Topped Scent Bottle

Description

A fabulous Victorian silver mounted scent bottle. This lovely example, has a clear glass body, cut with vertical panels. The hinged lid is silver, set with turquoise cabochons and has the original engraved monogram CMC. Inside the lid there is a sprung mechanism which facilitates the seal and a push button release. A lovely and desirable collector's item, with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks to the glass. The silver has no splits or holes, just a slight undulation around the rim, commensurate with age and use.
