Description

Antique Waltham full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a 13-jewel grade 22 stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 6,983,971 which dates it back to the second half of the 1890s. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14ct gold filled and it is in good condition, just light marking but nothing serious at all.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover… it no longer springs open as it would have done originally.

Inside, there is a glass lens, it has a few little manufacturing marks but they are small.

The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. There is a small chip to the edge, just by number 3.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
