A Superb Edwardian Agate & Silver Bookmark

Description

A superb silver Edwardian bookmark of larger proportions, assayed in Birmingham. This lovely example is a novelty piece and is of 'dagger' design, with a handle set with four coloured Agate stones. The handle is delightfully engraved with geometric patterns and finished with a ball finial. A good collector's piece, both decorative and practical. Dimensions below.
