Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The drip pans fitting within vase shaped candle holders, over a waisted socle. The stems topped with spreading leaf knops, held be fluted and folding leaf columns, finished with an orb, and thence a tall waisted socle. The bases spreading, as per the drip pans, in broadening panels, to meet a concave and convex stepped edge, between corners decorated with spreading leaves.
Hallmarked for Thomas Scott, Sheffield 1901.
