A stunning Victorian 1890s glass epergne vase with a gilt bronze base/holder. Made in Vaseline/uranium yellow glass, which glows bright green in UV light. Also has white opalescent vertical ribbing. Most likely made by one of the British glass factories, such as John Walsh, Richardson or Thomas Webb. Beautifully modelled base with three griffin-type terminals and trip flared struts with Roman-looking characters in relief in oval medallions. Offered in very good order. Standing 34.4cm in height,
