DESCRIPTIONA striking near pair of tall 19th-century Gothic Revival brass table lamps, converted from ecclesiastical altar candlesticks. The ornate crown-shaped drip pans above twisted and knopped columns with stepped bases, standing on lion paw feet. Elegantly proportioned and well-suited for a traditional or eclectic interior, these lamps have been sympathetically converted to electric use with bayonet bulb fittings.
