Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
A Lovely Rosewood Whatnot.
This absolutely stunning Whatnot is in fantastic condition throughout which we have just enhanced by sympathetically cleaning and carefully waxing to its lovely sheen.

This Whatnot is constructed of solid rosewood incorporating a gallery top with finely turned finals to the corners. The What Not has 4 serpentine front display shelves supported by 12 finely turned barley twist upright pillars and finishes to 4 turned rosewood legs standing on its original solid polished brass cup castors.

The display stand retains its original glazed French polished finish with its lightly faded rosewood colour and has been thoroughly checked over in our workshop to ensure it is in home ready condition. The Whatnot has no excessive movement or play in any of the joints, the tops are flat and are without bowing or twisting.

Please note this item is in beautiful condition for its age as shown in the photographs below however being an antique there may be minor repairs and imperfections here and there. However, we feel that these points are which adds charm and character to a piece.
